Allow option of submitting multiple taxonomic names/TSNs to ITIS API

The ITIS API is quite slow compared to NCBI, uBio, etc. I wonder if the service could be sped up. In addition, can you add an option to submit multiple names/TSNs/etc. at once. I believe each API call can only have one search value.

    Currently, ITIS only allows one search value for an API call. This is an excellent suggestion for an enhancement, and we will investigate implementing this in future.

    In regard to the API speed: I have passed on your suggestion to the developers in ITIS. In general, with every release, ITIS continues to investigate new measures to improve the overall performance, as well as performance in specific API areas.
